Telehouse North (Docklands)
Telehouse (KDDI) · operating · London Borough of Tower Hamlets
Part of the Telehouse Docklands campus.
The original Telehouse building at Coriander Avenue, Blackwall (E14 2AA), opened 1990 as the first purpose-built colocation data centre in Europe and the home of the London Internet Exchange (LINX) since 1994, and one of the most densely connected facilities in the world. About 9,717 m² of colocation across seven floors, served by the Docklands campus's on-site 50 MVA primary substation fed by two 132 kV grid lines. That substation serves the whole campus and is in MVA, so it is not counted as this building's megawatts. Part of the Telehouse Docklands campus aggregate.
